Zyxel’s newest rugged PoE switch RGS100-5P is designed with ruggedized concept to meet stringent outdoor and harsh network deployment scenario. The wide-ranging operating temperature from -40°C to 70°C enables RGS100-5P operates with reliability in harsh environment. Also, the IP30 standard metal mechanism and fanless design allow RGS100-5P withstand dusty environment.
The RGS100-5P comes with four Gigabit PoE+ ports to accommodate power-hungry devices with ease and one Gigabit SFP fiber uplink which can extend the network to long-distance nodes up to 40 km (43,744 yards) away for added flexibility. To adopt different deployments, the RGS100-5P can be installed on either a DIN rail or wall mount for efficient use of cabinet space.
